Construction of a pipeline. |

NESE'S BACK! We need YOU to take action and tell NJDEP: Stop the dirty gas NESE pipeline! Williams Transco is once again proposing the dangerous, unneeded Northeast Supply Enhancement (NESE) fossil fuel pipeline. The NESE project is a proposed expansion of Transco’s existing system from Pennsylvania through New Jersey to New York. If constructed, the pipeline would cut through Raritan Bay, harm our water quality, destroy wetlands, and put New Jersey communities at risk. This pipeline is a threat to families across the state, who would suffer from increased air and water pollution, as well as an increased risk of flooding in their neighborhoods. New Jersey communities would also face serious safety hazards due to the construction and operation of this pipeline and its compressor station. Plus, this project would worsen the climate crisis. We must tell the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) to reject Transco’s land use permits for the dangerous NESE pipeline, extend the public comment period 90 days, and hold public hearings in impacted communities! The current deadline to submit public comments is August 15, 2025. Will you join New Jerseyans across the state and send a message to NJDEP today? |
